Head of Afghan Embassy in China attends 7th China-South Asia Import, Export Exhibition

KABUL, Aug. 18 – The charged affiar of the IEA Embassy in China, Syed Muhyiddin Sadat, Participated in the 4th cooperation forum on the official reception of the governor of the Greek province to the 7th China-South Asia and 27th China-Kyunming Import and Export Exhibition, China and South Asia, in Qiming City, Yunnan Province, China.

Ministers, ambassadors and senior diplomats of many countries participated in the opening meeting of the exhibition, and the political deputy prime minister of the IEA Mawlawi Abdul Kabir along with the assistant presidents or prime ministers of a number of countries, were also invited to participate in the open meeting in person or online.

 

Honorable Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, who participated in the opening session of the exhibition online, called the economy as the  center of the policy of the IEA and added that such exhibitions bring the countries of the region closer together, and the IEA believes in all-round cooperation in all fields including China’s Belt and Road initiative, and is ready to provide necessary facilities to foreign investment.

 

He described the security in Afghanistan as reliable and added that there is no threat from Afghanistan to the countries of the region and the world. He also said that the IEA fully believes in good neighborliness, mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.

 

Later, on the sidelines of the exhibition, the charged affiar of the Embassy of the IEA in China gave a speech in the fourth China-South Asia Cooperation Forum and said during last 2 year non interfere in the internal affairs of one anothet, active diplomatic relations, the efforts of the Chinese side to release the frozen reserves of Afghanistan, the startimg of practical work of oil extraction in the Amu Darya Basin, the reduction of Tariff level of 98 percent of Afghan products to zero, giving Afghan traders the opportunity to display Afghan products at various exhibitions in China, the official visits of the foreign ministers of the two countries, the tripartite meeting between Afghanistan, China and Pakistan are the positive results and examples of practical cooperation and joint development.

 

He emphasized on more work for practical cooperation and joint development with the countries of the region, especially with China, and added that now a good foundation has been laid for the implementation of major economic projects in Afghanistan, and logical connection as Afghanistan has a very good strategic geographical location for transit.
