Grape production in Kunduz increased significantly

The Department of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock in Kunduz has recorded a 90 percent increase in grape production within the province.

Officials from the department have outlined a target to harvest 2006 metric tons of grapes from the 1493 hectares of orchards in the region this year, a significant uptick from the 1056 tons harvested the previous year.
