NIMROZ, Sep. 03 – This morning, a large gathering was held in Zaranj, the capital of Nimroz province, on the initiative of the Information and Culture Department of the province, to celebrate the end of the American occupation and independence.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by speeches by scholars and officials, in addition to congratulations on freedom.
In addition to the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate, the gathering included clerics, tribal elders, madrassa students and ordinary Muslims, numbering in the thousands.
The meeting ended with a prayer and was followed by a parade of freedom in the city by the Mujahideen and the general public.
