Governor of Helmand visits Musa Qala district

HELMAND, Nov. 15 – In the series of visits of districts of Helmand province Mawlawi Abdul Ahad (Talib), the conqueror and governor of Helmand, earlier today led a delegation to Musa Qala, an important strategic district, where he attended a large gathering of religious scholars, mujahideen, tribal elders and ordinary Muslims.

After congratulating the participants on the recent victories, the Governor of Helmand, said in his address we strive day and night to work for your prosperity, development, rehabilitation and self-sufficiency, we have not been able to do as much as you are entitled.

“We will never forget your sacrifices and the blood of your martyrs,” he said. And we will never leave you alone. We will always be by your side.

In conclusion, the Governor in his message to the people of Musa Qala said that the Islamic Emirate seeks every convenience and comfort of its people and has made necessary plans in this regard, which will soon come to fruition.  He cited, for example, the operation of telecommunications networks and the rapid pace of assistance to poor families. He added that he was in talks with the Department of Institutions and the Department of Education on roads, health, and school rehabilitation, and hoped that work would begin soon so that the people would benefit from the service.

At the end of the meeting, the famous religious scholar of Musa Qala district, Shaykh-ul-Hadith, Haji Mufti Abdul Aziz Sahib concluded with a closing prayer.
