Governor of Helmand visits dam and power plant of Kajaki district

HELMAND, Sep. 01 – Helmand Governor Talib Maulvi Sahib and other officials visited Kajaki district on Monday and met with the staff of the power plant and Turkish engineers stationed there.

The Governor of Helmand assured the Turkish engineers of the power plant of their full cooperation, and thanked them for their service in making the plant operational, and for playing a positive role.

The Turkish engineers also thanked the governor and expressed their happiness over the arrival of the Mujahideen and promised all kinds of cooperation in the future.

Later, Mr. Talib Maulvi Sahib also met with the administrative staff of Kajaki Dam and reassured the staff living there and encouraged them to be more focused and motivated in their duties.
