KABUL, Jan. 19 – The executive head of the Tapi project and other officials held a meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defense and General Directorate of Intelligence of the IEA, regarding the security of TAPI project.

In the press release issued by the Ministry of Interior, the officials of the Islamic Emirate said in this meeting that the Tapi project is considered as one of the vital projects for Afghanistan and they are doing everything to maintain security.

The Tapi project agreement was signed in 2016 between Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The Tapi gas pipeline is 1,800 kilometers long, from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
