Glorious gathering held Garamsir in honor of independence

HELMAND, Sep. 02 – A grand gathering was held in Garmsir district of Helmand province on the occasion of the end of 20 years of occupation and independence as well as condolence paid to the late Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid and Martyr Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor and soles of all Martyrdom of the Islamic Emirate.

The gathering, which included religious scholars and officials from the district, mujahideen, tribal elders, poets and writers, and ordinary Muslims, began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

Afterwards, the religious scholars, in turn, delivered valuable speeches on the importance of holy jihad, freedom and the Islamic system, and other important issues.

In their statements, the scholars mentioned the end of the 20-year occupation of Afghanistan and the complete independence of the country as a great blessing of God Almighty. He called on the people to be grateful for this great blessing and to support their Islamic system.

Also, the Holy Quran was recited and prayers were recited for the souls of the late Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor and the martyrs on the path to freedom.
