FARAH, May. 10 –  According to reports an influential person from Dehzaki village of Bala Baluk district and former police chief of Farah province, Major General Abdul Jalil Khan Bakhtor, due to the efforts of the officials of the Recruitment Commission has surrendered to Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate early morning hours today.

The said general has held important positions in various departments of puppet administrations over the past 19 years, has vowed never to return to the puppet administration, but will stand shoulder to shoulder with Mujahideen in the struggle to end the occupation and to strengthen the Islamic system.

A large gathering was also held in the area to receive the general which  was attended by a large number of military officials, officials of the Recruitment Commission and a large number of tribal elders and ordinary Muslims.
The meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran in the main mosque of the village in the afternoon and ended at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with prayers for the success of the Islamic Emirate.
