KABUL, Sep. 21 – Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with UNAMA Acting and Political Assistant, Marcus Potzel, and his accompanying delegation at Stori Palace, said Abdul Qahar Balkhi the spokesman of the ministry.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Director of UNAMA held a detailed discussion about the UNAMA leadership’s speech on Afghanistan to the UN Security Council next week, the arrival of the newly appointed representative of the UN Secretary General to Afghanistan and other issues.

FM Muttaqi assured further cooperation with all diplomatic missions, including the United Nations about ensured security of their buildings and staff and to take strong security measures as well as providing further facilities for the movement of relevant staff.

Minister of Foreign Affairs said that IEA had a policy of constructive interaction with the international community and UNAMA can play a good role in this regard.
