KABUL, Mar. 13 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi and his accompanying delegation met with the Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the Antalya Forum, .
The meeting focused on further development of deep ties between the two countries. Mr. Muttaqi congratulated Turkey on successful convening of the Diplomacy Forum and also thanked Turkey for standing by the people of Afghanistan in the areas of humanitarian, educational and development projects.
The two sides discussed the issue of Kabul Airport and other international airports in Afghanistan and discussed the terms of the agreement that still need to be discussed.
It was promised that both countries would visit Qatar. Seeks to reach a solution to the remaining issues as soon as possible through technical discussions.
