    KABUL, Jan. 25 –  Today Asia-Pacific Director Mr. Bertrand Lortholary and South Asia Director Mr. Damien Syed of French Ministry for Europe & Foreign Affairs met in Oslo with IEA Foreign Minister H.E Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, said Abdul Qahar Balkhi the spokesman of the ministry.

    The French representatives highlighted historic relations with Afghanistan, saying centennial of diplomatic relations will be celebrated this year & they look forward to its continuation, adding France will continue humanitarian aid for Afghan people & engage with the new government, he added.

    H.E Muttaqi underscored positive relations with France, calling for cooperation in health, education & humanitarian sectors. It’s worth noting that this was the first high-level meeting held between IEA & the French gov where both sides agreed to continue such meetings.
