KABUL, Apr. 01 – Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Hussein Amir Abdullahian in China on Thursday, said foreign ministry on twitter.

The meeting which was also attended by Minister of Mines and Petroleum Sheikh Delawar, Minister of Economy Qari Din Mohammad Hanif and Special Envoy of the President of Iran Mr. Kazemi Qaumi reviewed the political, social and economic situation in Afghanistan after the 15th August transition.

Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi inlighted about the achievements of the Afghan government in the areas of governance, economy and security.

Both sides expressed the hope that the two countries would work together to implement the agreements reached in order to take advantage of the existing opportunities and cooperate with each other as neighboring countries.
