KABUL, Feb. 17 – The deputy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Raouf Mazo leadership a delegation called on Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the IEA on Thursday.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Besides welcoming the UNCHR delegation said that refugees usually return to the country when there is no war and the economy is in good condition Fortunately, the war broke out but US sanctions and freezing of Afghans assets has caused this process to stall. Muttaqi Sahib hoped that the problems of Afghan refugees outside the country would be addressed in time.

Later, Mr. Mazo expressed his happiness that Afghanistan is safe now, and the refugees should return to their regions and villages.

He said that a large number of refugees have returned to the country in the past year, among them we have provided assistance to 60,000 refugees.

For this year, we intend to build 35 schools, 20 clinics, 5000 houses and provide small loans to 50 thousand people in needy areas, he said.
