KABUL, Sep. 30.- According to deputy spokesman of the foreign ministry the special representatives of China and Pakistan Mr. Yu Xiang and Mr. Asif Durrani held a joint meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the IEA, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi on the sidelines of Moscow Format, today.

The meeting focused on the relations, common interests and threats of Afghanistan, Pakistan and China, said Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal.

The foreign minister termed Afghanistan’s relations with Pakistan as friendly and insisted that efforts should be made to resolve problems through diplomatic means instead of media statements. The representative of Pakistan also insisted that the problems should be resolved through bilateral diplomatic channels.

The Chinese side praised the bilateral diplomacy of Afghanistan and Pakistan, which has found a timely solution to the related problems. The Chinese side also assured that as a suppoter country of security, stability and development in the region, it is ready to increase its assistance to Afghanistan in many fields.
