On the sidelines of the third meeting of the Trans-Himalaya Forum meeting, Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi in Tibet, says Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal the deputy sokesman of the foreign ministry.

The discussion included a wide range of regional issues, including new commercial corridors, according to Takal.

The joint meetings of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan, China, and Pakistan were deemed beneficial by both foreign ministers and hoped to continue it.

China’s foreign minister, indicated his willingness to work with the Afghan government to strengthen its capabilities and governance  and added that no other nation has any influence over China’s diplomatic ties with Afghanistan, and pledge to maintain long-standing friendship.
