Foreign Minister Meets Adviser to Russian President

KABUL, Sep. 27 -The adviser to the Russian President Mr. Edelgeriev Ruslan Said- Khusainovich met in Moscow with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, says Abdul Qahar Balkhi the spokesman of the foreign ministry.

Accordimg to a statement FM Muttaqi stressed strengthening political and economic ties between the two countries, taking pragmatic steps in the field of trade and cooperation in different sectors, calling relations between the two countries progressing and important.

HE the FM also highlighted IEA’s achievements in preventing narcotics cultivation, treating drug addicts, ensuring unprecedented security, eliminating Daesh & safeguarding Afghanistan’s borders.

Welcoming the FM & his accompanying delegation to Moscow, Mr. Said-Khusainovich appreciated IEA’s effective & useful steps in the mentioned areas, & stressed Russian readiness to cooperate with Afghans in various sectors.

He also emphasized that the real image of Afghanistan’s current achievements should be reflected to the world so that everyone can better understand the truth.

To end, the two sides expressed satisfaction over the holding of the meeting, taking note of the interaction in the fields of climate change, education, trade, agriculture, industry & sports, and emphasizing bilateral exchanges & strengthening relations.
