Food items, cash aid distributed to needy families

KABUL, Jan. 19 – Aid organizations in Paktika and Kandahar provinces distributed cash and food aid to over 1,200 families, reported Bakhter News Agency.

According to provincial head of natural disasters Management department of Paktika, 449 families received cash aid by the Norwegian Committee in Barmal district, whith each family receiving cahs aid 274 US dollars.

Meanwhile, food items have been distributed to 800 families by the Islamic Relief Organization in Arghistan district of Kandahar province and each family receiver flour, rice, cooking oil, beans, salt and rice.
