Food Aid distributed to over 500 needy families in Balkh

BALKH, Sep. 22 – the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) distributed assistance of eight types of food items to 500 poor and needy families in the Shortpa District of Balkh Province.

According to details each family was given 100 kg of wheat flour, 24.5 kg of rice, and 10 liters of vegetable cooking oil, 8 kg of beans, 5 kg of sugar, 2 kg of salt, 1 kg of green tea, and a box of biscuits.
