Following the proposal by the Ministry of Public Health and under the benevolent guidance of esteemwd Amir -ul-Momineen., the construction of the 200-bed cancer hospital was approved, and the efforts to initiate the hospital services are advancing swiftly.

To gain a closer insight and better comprehension of the aforementioned matters, Mr. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, visited the hospital alongside his delegation.

 

Mr. Noori inspected various sections of the hospital and conducted a special meeting with officials to discuss the requirements. Referring to cancer patients as the most vulnerable and in need, he assured in his address that the Ministry of Public Health would prioritize their care.

He urged officials to strive to kickstart hospital services promptly and establish healthcare amenities for the citizens in this regard.

 

It is notable that this hospital will roll out its services in three phases, with the first phase already completed. The subsequent phases will entail procuring and activating diverse modern equipment for cancer patients.

Additionally, special capacity-building programs will be implemented for healthcare workers to enhance the quality of health services.
