Today marked the opening of the inaugural exhibition showcasing the development of Panjshir emerald exports, agricultural products, and handicrafts in Panjshir.

Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim expressed that the exhibition aims to attract both domestic and international traders to Afghanistan’s emerald industry and promote this valuable product in the market.

He further shared that Panjshir currently boasts 1,200 registered emerald mines, with 500 of them actively operating under mining licenses. These mines provide employment opportunities to numerous local workers on a daily basis.

Hence, fellow compatriots are encouraged to visit Panjshir province and explore this exhibition. It offers an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the cultural products of the people of Panjshir, as well as the country’s handicrafts, medicinal plants, and domestic products. The exhibition also seeks to attract investments during this unique period.
