KUNDUZ, July 22 – In the early predawn hours of Saturday morning Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate began to advance on Khanabad district and got into the main bazaar following a large-scale operation aimed at the enemy installations and posts in Khanabad district of northern Kunduz province, Al-Emarah News said.

It added 6 major combat posts has so far slipped from the enemy’s control and fell to Mujahideen, while Mujahideen seized full control of the main road extending from Kunduz city to Khanabad district.

Furthermore, Mujahideen captured a large amount of arms and ammo from the enemy, leaving an unknown number of the enemy personnel dead and wounded

Al-Emarah News separately said 3 US aggressors and 7 local commandos of the Special Forces were killed in the fighting going on for the last two days in the limits of Kunduz city, the capital of Kunduz province.

The fighting erupted after Mujahideen tried to push back the enemy joint operation yesterday which continued to rage all day yesterday and it is still in progress.

At least 7 local puppets and 3 American invaders have been killed in the fighting going on for the second day in a row, where A Mujahid fighter has also been wounded.

Mujahideen are said to have been fighting with a high morale, forcing the enemy to retreat.

In another report from Kunduz, a roadside bomb blast hit a police vehicle in the vicinity of Kunduz city last night, inflicting casualty on the deputy police officer of the police station.
