Fighting rages in eastern Afghanistan as Operation Masnoori declared

LAGHMAN, Apr. 28 – Around predawn Friday shortly after the announcement of “Operation Mansoori”, Mujahideen lunched attacked in several different parts of eastern Laghman province, storming 3 of the enemy combat posts in Dowlat Shah district of Laghman province, leaving an unknown number of the enemy troops dead and wounded.

Early Friday a check post was dismantled in Alishang district of Laghman province in which the enemy suffered heavy toll, while an Arbaki was wounded in an attack on anther post in the mentioned district.

Elsewhere in the said district, Mujahideen attacked an enemy base and a checkpoint early Monday morning, leaving two puppets wounded.

Moreover, Mujahideen stormed the enemy installation in Dawlat Shah district of Laghman province early Friday morning, targeting the headquarters of the mentioned district and its checkpoints that led to heavy fighting in which a large number of the enemy soldiers suffered casualties.

In the late morning hours of the day, Mujahideen pounded a base belonging to U.S invaders in Qarghayi district of the province but there is no information on the enemy losses.

A check post belonging to Arbakis was dismantled in Alishang district of this province, leaving a number of the Arbakis dead and wounded in the morning hours of Monday.
