Fighting rages in Baghlan as Kunduz-Baghlan road closed off

BAGHLAN, Oct. 4 – The Islamic Emirate amid nation-wide Operation Omari launched their offensives in Baghlan, the neighboring Kunduz province early Monday, closing off the road leading to Kunduz province in Baghlan-i-Markazi district of Baghlan province.

Similarly, Mujahideen blocked off the road leading to Kabul province elsewhere in the mentioned district, preventing the enemy movement along the road and overran a combat post named after infamous commander, Ma’azallah in the area.

An unknown number of the enemy soldiers were killed and wounded in the resulting firefights, while Mujahideen fighters got their hands on arms and ammo.

An enemy military post located in Sarak Panj area of the district is said to be under attack at the moment.

On the other hand, Mujahideen seized two of the enemy key bases in Poli Khomri district of Baghlan province, capturing form the enemy 2 armored tanks and a vehicle as well as a considerable amount of various kinds of arms and ammunition, where 2 armored tanks were destroyed.
