Facilitation of returning refugees underway in Spin Boldak, Torkham

KABUL, Nov. 01- The local officials of Kandahar province say that they are urgently building camps for those Afghan refugees in Spin Boldak district, who are being forcefully evacuated by Pakistan. It should be noted that in addition to Spin Boldak, at Torkham shelter, basic needs, medicines, food items, cash and transportation facilities are provided for the refugees.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Sharaft Zaman, says that dozens of Afghan health workers and teams are busy providing services to Afghan refugees in Torkham.

Mr. Zaman adds that soon more mobile medical teams and equipment will be sent to Torkham.

Meanwhile, Bilal Karimi, the Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, states that the transport committee has completed its preparations in Torkham.

 

Mr. Karimi adds that the movement brigade command of the Ministry of National Defense continues to transport hundreds of large and small vehicles and hundreds of equipment.

According to him, the mentioned vehicles and equipment include hundreds of cars, mobile toilets, generators and water tankers.
