Extraction of oil from the first well of Qashqari oil fields inaugurated

SARIPUL, July. 08 – The first well of Qashqari oil installations has been formally inaugurated and operationally started on Friday.

Minister of Mines and Petroleum Sheikh Shahabuddin Dilawar inaugurated the extraction of oil from the first well of Qashqari oil in the presence of local authorities of Saripul province.

The Minister of Mines and Petroleum said on inauguration ceremony that this Oil Project is one of the important economic resources of the country, the oil of this project will be used for the population of the country.

In this project, Afghan nationals will get employment in the recruitment of technical and non-technical employees. He added that the reconstruction of Saripul province will be prioritized with the oil revenue.

Meanwhile, Saripul Police Chief Mawlavi Abdul Basir Mazhari assured the complete safety of the mineral reserves and the province.
