Expired, Low-quality Medicines Disposed in Jawzjan

JAWZJAN, Oct. 19 – Around 155 boxes of outdated and low-quality medicines, seized and disposed in Jawzjan say Public Health officials of the department.

The provincial head of Jawzjan Public Health department, Qari Zabihullah Hussaini told media that they have disposed 155 boxes of outdated and low-quality medicines worth 371 thousand Afghanis in the province.

The amount of medicine has been collected from the pharmacies of Jawzjan province by the mobile inspection team of Public Health department he added.

Hussaini said that dealing of outdated and low-quality medicines is a crime in the country and violators will be dealt strictly according to the law.
