Decree of Esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen regarding prohibition of hemp cultivation in the country

According to decree no 510 of His Highness the supreem leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Amir-ul-Momineen Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawi Hibbullah Akhundzah, dated 16/8/1444 A.H. ban has been imposed on the cultivation of hemp in the country.

It is stated in the decree that the cultivation of hemp plants is absolutely prohibited across the cou try, and after this, no one can plant hemp on their land, and if anyone plants hemp on their land, the plantation will be iredicated.
In the decree, the Ministry of Interior and other investigative agencies have been ordered to bring the violators to court, and the courts have also been ordered to punish the violators according to Sharia rules.

In the second article of this decree, the said decree is considered effective from the date of approval and can be published in the official gazette.
