The esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen, may Allah protect him, convened a gathering with a spectrum of officials from Paktia Province, on Thursday said Zabihullah Mujahid the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate.
Present at the meeting were the Governor of Paktia Province, Mullah Mehrullah Hammad, the Chairman of the Ulema Council, the Chief of Police, the Director of Intelligence, and representatives from all IEA institutions of the province.
The session commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, following which the Governor of Paktia Province, Mullah Mehrullah Hammad. He provided insights to His Eminence, Amir-ul-Momineen may Allah protect him, regarding the prevailing circumstances in Paktia Province and the operations of the IEA institutions in the province.
Subsequently, esteemwd Amir-ul–Momineen, may Allah protect him, delivered an address to the attendees, commending the efforts of the officials in Paktia province. He remarked, “Allah has provided us with a favorable opportunity. Let us express gratitude for the conducive environment established for the advancement of knowledge, religion, Islam, unity, and fraternity. It is incumbent upon us, alongside you, to safeguard and uphold this environment. Those in positions of authority must conscientiously discharge their duties, steering clear of negligence. Our commitment to the implementation of Sharia law requires sacrifices.
Patience must endure, and we must diligently enforce Islamic and Sharia laws, particularly in promotion of virtue and prevention of vice, the primary objective of Islam. The time has come to apply Sharia principles across economic, political, and military domains.”
Encouraging harmonious collaboration, His Eminence Amir-ul-Momineen stressed the importance of coordination among officials, emphasizing the imperative of obedience to superiors, seamless coordination with ministers, and compliance with ministerial directives, as obedience to ministers is obligatory for all authorities.
Furthermore, His Eminence Amir-ul-Momineen articulated the obligation of officials to serve the populace, akin to how the people supported the Mujahideen during prior Jihadist periods. He urged officials to redouble their efforts in resolving community issues, eradicating animosity, discord, and ethnic biases within the province, fostering a secure environment, and striving for peace among residents.
The gathering concluded with a prayer for the welfare of the governament and the people.
