Equipment seized as 6 posts overrun in Daikundi

DAIKUNDI, Oct. 15 – Amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’, Mujahideen launched attacks on enemy security check posts in Khalj area last night.
Attacks of heavy and light weapons lasted till early morning hours, overrunning 5 posts completely after forcing the enemy to flee.
Meanwhile, enemy has fled and abandoned a military base in the area, leaving a ranger pickup, 1 motorbike and a large amount of ammo behind and bringing a large area under the control of Mujahideen.
In another report, another enemy post was overrun after being attacked by Mujahideen in Quddosi Killi area overnight, killing 4 puppets and seizing a PKM machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 3 rifles, 2 communication radios while Mujahideen suffered no casualties during the operation.
