Equipment seized as 2 posts overrun in Arghandab

KANDAHAR, Oct. 29 – According to a recent report from southern Kandahar province, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks on 2 enemy posts in Syah Sang Dara area of Arghandab district overnight.
Attacks of heavy and light arms resulting in both posts were overrun after a brief resistance, forcing the enemy to flee while leaving 2 corpses on the battle ground.
It is said that 2 PKM machine guns, 1 RPG launcher, 2 rifles, 7 RPG rounds, 2280 heavy machine gun rounds, 750 rifle rounds and 33 magazines were confiscated in the operation.
A Mujahid was wounded and another embraced martyrdom during the operation.
