Enemy suffers heavy toll in eastern Afghanistan

NANGARHAR, Dec. 21 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate late Wednesday pounded with missiles Jalalabad airfield, the US airbase in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of Nangarhar province, a report said but offered no casualty details.

In the province’s Bati Kot district, Mujahideen raided an enemy checkpoint late yesterday night but it is not yet clear if there were any casualties.

Separately, Mujahideen zeroed in on the enemy combat post in Alishang distict of neighboring province, Laghman, a report said.

The post is said to have been under Mujahideen siege over the past two days.
