WARDAK, Aug. 4 – The enemy task forces sent to Wardak last week to conduct offensive against Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in Jalriz district of this province was put to rout yesterday night and forced to retreat with any gains.

The defenseless civilians, however, took the brunt of the enemy operation in which their homes were damaged and they suffered casualties.

In another news report from Wardak, the enemy convoy and police headquarters came under Mujahideen attacks in the provincial capital of Wardak late yesterday. There is no information on the enemy losses.
