FARAH, Jan. 09 – Reports say, heavy clashes broke out after Mujahideen foiled an enemy offensive operation carried in Shewan and Kharabo areas of Bala Baluk district by ANA and commando troops overnight, forcing the enemy to retreat after suffering heavy fatalities. A Mujahid is said to have been martyred in the crossfire.
