Enemy military helicopter brought down in country’s east  

NURISTAN, Nov. 14 – Al-Emarah News said Mujahideen combatants shot down an enemy helicopters gunship in eastern Nuristan province on Monday.

It was shot down with rocket fire as it drew close to the runway and was destroyed, killing all those aboard it.

In a report from neighboring province of Kunar, a post belonging to militia came under Mujahideen attack in Surkani district of the province last night, which gave no casualty details.

Similarly, Mujahideen shelled an army base in Chapa district of the province, while there are no reports to confirm the casualty toll inflicted on the enemy.

In another report from Kunar, a civilian was martyred and a woman was wounded when the enemy pounded with heavy arms a village in Surkani district of Kunar province early today.

Over 50 of the livestock were also killed in the heavy arms attack on the village.
