Enemy defense-line broken in Helmand, clashes underway

HELMAND, Jul. 20 – Amid full swing of ‘Operation Mansouri’, early morning today Mujahideen launched vast offensive operation against enemy defense-line in De Adam Khan area of Gerishk district.
According to details heavy clashes are said to be still ongoing, initially 2 explosive laden-vehicle martyr attacks were carried out, breaking the enemy defense line and overrunning a key and large military base named Sar Band while causing heavy losses to enemy.
Similarly, a martyr attack carried out on enemy reinforcement troops trying to reach Gerishk from Shorab airbase.
Enemy has so far suffered heavy casualties and Mujahideen have confiscated a sizable amount of war spoils and are further advancing on enemy positions.
