    • FARHA, Aug. 17 – Officials say as many as 12 mortar rounds have been fire at a hireling military base located in Charmas area of Pushtrod district earlier today.
    According to details all round slammed inside the base causing serious toll to enemy.
    Separately, a hireling officer – Ahmad Jan s/o of Zarif – was killed amid a Mujahideen ambush in Maidan area of Farah city midday today.
    The said officer was openly doing Alcohol business in the city.
