The National Statistics and Information Agency has announced the establishment of an electronic ID card distribution center in Shindand district of Herat province to enhance the accessibility of electronic ID cards for residents. The opening ceremony was graced by Herat Governor Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, Maulvi Mohibullah Hedayat, the head of the provincial Statistics and Information Agency, as well as local civil and military officials and tribal elders from Shindand district.

During the event, Governor Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islam Jar expressed gratitude to the leadership of the National Statistics and Information Agency, hailing the launch of the electronic ID card distribution center in Shindand district as a prime example of the government’s commitment to providing timely services to the populace in need.

Maulvi Mohibullah Hedayat, the Director of Statistics and Information for Herat Province, extended felicitations to the residents of Shindand District on the inauguration of the electronic ID card distribution facility. He highlighted that the establishment of this center will address the challenges faced by Shindand District and six neighboring districts, simplifying the process for residents to obtain their electronic ID cards.
