BALKH, Sep. 22 – Alhaji Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Economic Deputy Prime Minister of the IEA visited Balkh province today to overview recent work progress of the Qosh tepa Canal.
Honorable Alhaji Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund closely observed the work of Qoshtepa Canal Project and made necessary recommendations to the officials of the project for further improvement.
It is worth mentioning that this project provides employment to thousands of people directly and indirectly and the construction of this canal will irrigate around 550,000 hectares of land, making Afghanistan self-sufficient in terms of wheat and other corpses.
