KABUL, Jan. 06 – Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, met with scholars and tribal leaders from Uruzgan Province to discuss their concerns, says office of the economic deputy prime minister.

The Uruzgan leaders praised the country’s security situation and expressed support for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. They raised issues such as road reconstruction, clean drinking water, and check dam construction.

The economic deputy PM assured them of the government’s commitment to addressing these concerns, emphasizing the ongoing reconstruction and development projects. He acknowledged the challenges faced and pledged gradual resolution based on people’s priorities, particularly focusing on the mentioned infrastructure projects in Uruzgan.
