Economic Deputy PM emphasizes importance of maintaining independence

During the commemoration of the 105th anniversary of liberation from British rule, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister of Economy, stressed the importance of maintaining independence once it is achieved.

He emphasized the need to preserve independence in the face of modern military advancements and highlighted the importance of embracing contemporary technology.

Furthermore, he emphasized the necessity for Afghanistan to make the most of its resources and opportunities similar to other nations worldwide, pointing to the abundance of iron in the country that should be effectively utilized.

Baradar stressed the critical role of iron in the country’s defense strategy, aiming to utilize it in the manufacturing of military assets such as tanks, armored vehicles, and ammunition.

During the event, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund expressed that the spirit of freedom deeply resonates in the hearts of Afghans, asserting that no global power can extinguish the unwavering determination of the Afghan people.
