KABUL, Jan. 22 – A couple of days ago, a notable conference was organized in Kabul under the name of Afghanistan’s New Economic start participated by some 60 countries including Islamic countries.
As a matter of fact, convening such conference and taking advantage of it is seen as a great initiative on the part of the Islamic Emirate and a significant step towards the progress.
The Islamic Emirate, as a result of the conference, made its position clear to the world, calling for investments and discussing regional economic cooperation while encouraging international humanitarian aid for crucial and temporary period time and emphasizing the need for a sustainable and long-term economic development.
Above all, it challenged the entire world humanitarianism, exposing their plans, deceits and insincerity and calling them to the truth.
In the existing tense circumstances, inviting such a large number of countries and encouraging them to consider the country’s national interest heralds a brilliant future for the country.
The Islamic Emirate’s efforts indicate that they have not only achieved territorial integrity, but also have strong resolve and successful plans for economic autonomy and self-reliance.
Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister said in his speech that two types of steps needed to be taken for the economy of the country: first is the provision of emergency humanitarian aid for the time being and the other is to work to ensure infrastructures improvements and basic systems and services that are necessary to economic development of the country.
The Islamic Emirate seeks to establish relations with countries in the region and the world based on the economic commonalities and to encourage investment.
When the countries and investors of the region and the world seem willing to invest in the country, it will smooth the path for our county to be internationally recognized.
Similarly, the countries will have a positive involvement and play a role in the wellbeing and betterment of our country.
Alhamdulillah (Glory be to Allah), there is a complete peace and security in Afghanistan now. Necessary measures will be taken to safeguard the investment of those investing in several different sectors in the country which will be a major step forward in economic prosperity and self-sufficiency as well as providing job opportunities to the citizens inside the country.
Our country is rich in mineral resources so we could make better use of our geographical location in addition to minerals, electricity and other Allah-given resources. Our country may severe as land and air transit routes between many countries which can also help boost the economy.
With the serious fiscal challenges facing the country, the Islamic Emirate has not only been able to run the county and support the nation with help of the national revenue and the income coming from its agencies but also continued the construction work.
Previously, all these expenses had been covered by foreign aid, whereas, now, the Islamic Emirate is taking care of everything as there is no theft, embezzlement and bribery. As a result, the Islamic Emirate collects revenue transparently and hand it over to the relevant agencies in the same manner.
Some days ago, the Islamic Emirate announced that the coming fiscal year would take effect from the month of Arise (Burj-e-Hamal) instead of Capricorn (Bruj-e-Jadi) which, in fact, amounts to the declaration of economic autonomy.
This is to say, in the past, the fiscal year would come into effect from the month of Capricorn to coincide with January, the beginning of the fiscal year of the rest of the world. In doing so, they (former regime) would intend to receive some financial aid.
In the economic sectors, Islamic Emirate, with the help of Allah (Almighty) has detailed and precise plans for a successful and brighter future and a self-sufficient country.
Let us not be overwhelmed by propaganda and negative coverage of the Western media which is aimed to frustrate people and keep them from progress, development and investment.
