Dozens killed as Operation Manoori continues into day two

LOGAR, Apr. 29 – At least 5 puppets were killed and 3 more suffered injuries with a tank destroyed as Mujahideen conducted violent attacks on the enemy posts following the announcement of “Operation Mansoori” on Friday.

In another report from Logar Al-Emarah reporters said Mujahideen closed off the highway extending from Pol-i-Alam city, leaving a number of the enemy troops dead and wounded with a tank destroyed on Friday.

He separately said at least 4 enemy soldiers were killed and over 7 sustained fatal wounds after Mujahideen carried out attacks on the center of the district of Charkh and its surrounding check posts on Friday morning.

On Friday morning, Mujahideen launched attacks on the center of the district of Khoshi and its check posts, causing the enemy heavy toll but the exact casualty toll is not determined.

In the province’s Baraki Barak district, Mujahideen targeted a large number of the enemy security and combat posts leaving 4 Arbaki injured on Friday.

On day second, an Arbaki lapdog was killed with two more wounded in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province. A Kalashnikov rifle was seized from the target.

Early Saturday morning, Mujahideen attacked a number of the enemy posts in Mohammad Agha district of the province, leaving a number of the Arbakis dead and wounded.
