HERAT, Oct. 28 – Local security sources in Herat told Hurriyet Radio; The forces of Herat Province Intelligence Directorate have freed a compatriot named Dr. Rifat, who was kidnapped a week ago.
The source adds; This operation was carried out late Friday in Siyavshan village of Guzra district of Herat province against kidnappers, as a result of which Dr. Rifat was rescued and three kidnappers were killed and two others were captured whith a rifle seized as well.
