BAGHLAN, June 25 – The district of Khijan, its police headquarters and checkpoints fell to Mujahideen in northern Baghlan province yesterday.

Similarly, Tala Barfak district of Baghlan, its police headquarters and checkpoints slipped out of the enemy’s control a day earlier than the fall of the district of Khijan.

A police headquarters was seized in Pol-e-Khomri district of the province.

Arms and ammunition of several different kinds were seized from the enemy.

In the Pol-i-Khumri district of Baghlan, Mujahideen seized control of 40 military bases following which 60 enemy personnel joined Mujahideen with 25 tanks, 45 military vehicles and trucks and arms.
