 PAKTIKA, June 29 – The district of Khashamand, its checkpoints and police headquarters fell to Mujahideen in Paktika province.

A dozen of the enemy soldiers sustained casualties and 3 more were captured.

Similarly, 2 tanks, 2 military vehicles and 6 other vehicles were seized along with arms and ammunition.

Furthermore, 12 puppets were captured when Mujahideen took over the Mirzaka district of Paktia province, its checkpoints and police headquarters.

In the operation, the 10 enemy tanks and arms and ammunition were captured from the enemy.

Likewise, the district of Takhar, its checkpoints and police headquarters were taken over and a number of the enemy personnel were killed and wounded.

According to reports from Wardak province, the district of Chak, its police headquarters and checkpoints were taken over.

Thirty nine enemy personnel surrendered themselves to Mujahideen during the operation.

Four policemen were killed and arms seized from the enemy.
