District center, airbase come under attacks; several suffer casualties

 NANGARHAR, Mar. 3 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate pounded with heavy arms the headquarters of the district of Bati Kot in Nangarhar province, a report said but offered no casualty details.

In another report from Nangarhar, 3 Arbakis were wounded in an exchange of fire following Mujahideen ambush in Mohmand Darah district of Nangarhar province on Friday.

Separately, Mujahideen in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar struck Jalalabad airbase with missiles on Friday night, likely to have caused the enemy heavy toll but the precise size of the losses is not determined.

Early Friday, a policeman, torturing a Mujahid to death a couple of days ago, was killed by Mujahideen in retaliatory attack.

The target and 3 of his fellow policemen who were also accomplice to the crime tortured and horrifically martyred a Mujahideen after he was captured by the enemy.

Mujahideen following the incident had been in pursuit of the targeted till he was captured yesterday and was killed in retaliation.
