KABUL, Jan. 30 –  Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy Prime Minister of the IEA met with the Turkish Ambassador in Kabul, Jihad Arginy, and the representative of the Turkish Red Crescent in ARG, the presidentila Plalace today.
Turkish ambassador said Turkish humanitarian aid to Afghans continues as a friendly and brotherly country adding that 750 pieces of humanitarian aid collected at the request of President Erdogan, including food, medicine and other essential items, would reach Afghanistan via Iran and Turkmenistan in a few days and be delivered to Afghanistan’ 34 provinces.

He requested for the cooperation of the Government of Afghanistan in the maintenance, transfer and distribution of this aid. He also added: “From next week, Ariana Airlines will have 2 flights and Kam Air 1 will have weekly flights to Turkey.” Turkey is also increasing its assistance to Ataturk Pediatric Hospital by UNDP.

Expressing gratitude for the humanitarian aid of the government and people of Turkey, Mr. Hanafi assured full cooperation of the Islamic Emirate in delivering the aid through a transparent distribution.
He called for the expansion of relations between the two countries and assured that they would provide grounds for bilateral cooperation.

Mr. Hanafi went on saying the overall security in Afghanistan, has provided a good opportunity to invest in Afghanistan, and also invited Turkish investors to invest in various fields in Afghanistan.
