KABUL, Dec. 11 – Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, convened with Dr. Gul Muhammad Usman, Chairman of the Medical Council, along with several council members, afternoon hours today, said ARG in a statement on X.

Dr. Gul Muhammad Usman, as the Chairman of the Medical Council, provided a comprehensive overview of the council’s activities and accomplishments to the Administrative deputy PM. He emphasized the council’s diligent efforts to standardize the medical sector in Afghanistan and highlighted the significant progress made in conducting regular audits of hospitals and health centers. Dr. Gul Muhammad Usman expressed the council’s commitment to applying internationally recognized standards in the diagnosis, treatment, and overall field of medicine in Afghanistan.

Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and commended the actions and achievements of the Medical Council.
