KABUL, Jan. 20 – Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister of the IEA met Eloi Fillion, Head of Delegation in Afghanistan, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) at the presidential Place this afternoon.

Eloi Fillion elaborated on the organization’s activities and services, especially approaching war victims, health, water and energy, adding that “In coordination and cooperation with Red Cross Afghanistan and the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies, the ICRC is working in Afghanistan and has increased services due to the economic situation and the post-war period in Afghanistan.”
ICRC focuses on the disabled in 7 centers in Afghanistan, he added.
Appreciating the activities of ICRC, Mr. Hanafi assured cooperation with the name organization in all areas and also called on the organization to prioritize those districts which are mostly affected by the war and are deprived of humanitarian aid.
