QATER, Oct. 25 – Deputy Prime Minister of IEA, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, met with the Director of the United Nations Development Program, Achim Steiner on Sunday in Doha. The meeting focused on the current situation in Afghanistan, deteriorating economic situation in the country, and the treatment of drug addicts.
Mr. Mullah Baradar Akhund thanked the organization for its assistance and assured cooperation in delivering aid to Afghans while demanding increase in their assistance to the people in various fields.
Achim Steiner, Development Program Manager, also pledged continued support to Afghans.
